NBR seizes Sheikh Hasina’s locker at Pubali Bank
The Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) has found a bank locker in the name of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Motijheel Corporate Branch of Pubali Bank. The locker was seized on Wednesday morning.
CIC Director General Ahsan Habib confirmed this information.

Ahsan Habib said, a locker in the name of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was found in the branch of Pubali Bank located in Sena Kalyan Bhaban. One of the two keys of this locker is with Sheikh Hasina. A team of the Central Intelligence Cell of the NBR has seized the locker.
NBR sources also reported that the locker number is 128. The locker may contain important documents including gold ornaments.
When asked about the locker, Ahsan Habib said, “It cannot be said right now. The locker was seized based on intelligence information. The locker will be opened following legal procedures.”
